Pumpkins pumpkins are so fun!
For FHE we carved our pumpkins and watched Hocus Pocus. I thought we actually did a good job this time. Shane and mother made an ipmressive Grinch, Kaden and Mindi designed the boogie man and Jack, and my father an original smile. Shanna tried to do one, but as usual Genevieve was her "happy self" and needed some attention. But we did get a cute pic out of her before she cried away.

If you have ever been to my house near Christmas time, you know how much we love that holiday, and food. Having experienced a different kind of Christmas for the last 2 years, it made me love even more our crazy traditions. Music Oct. 1st, Cutting down the tree after thanksgiving, singing our lives away till we can't stay awake, and gift of the heart. Yes my views of Christmas have changed a bit more, but if I were honest, Christmas isn't Christmas with out these special family traditions. It's just another day closer to the next year and an excuse to be lazy and eat more food.
So, to say that I am excited for this years Christmas would be an understatement. I still dislike the cold, but it comes with package so freeze happy!!!
